Been working on the Painter 12 studies. Haven't learned near as much as I'd like to, but I'm getting the brushes together that I use constantly. Though I have a few distractions, discovered Google Sketchup recently so started playing with that a bit. To practice on there I've been designing a possible future computer desk/workstation for my office/studio.

My "studio" is starting to come together. Currently using my Asus G74SX 17.3" laptop connected to an additional 32" LG LCD 1080p. Running Corel Painter 12, controlled by a Wacom Bamboo Create 6"x8" active surface. Still fairly inexperienced with the digital aspect. I'm doing a lot of learning trying to get used to the digital painting. Sketching and line art I'm getting down pretty good on here. I'll be uploading as much as I can including real pencil and paper drawings that I haven't uploaded in the past several years. All of my current deviations are really old.

I had a move half way across the country shortly after setting up my last office studio so I didn't get anywhere with that. It's been rough and got behind on a lot of bills so been playing catch up. I'm finally getting stable again and I have a fixer upper house that I'm converting one room into my new office studio. So I should start getting my newer works uploaded and hopefully finish some of my old works.

Well, I've been working as an Aerospace Structures mechanic for around 10 years now....Art has always been a side note, a hobby. I was just laid off from my recent job of the past 3 1/2 years and I've decided to try and pursue my art for once. I just got a fresh (legit) copy of Corel Painter 12, bought a new art table, and some supplies, so expect to start seeing a lot of new work in my gallery. including ones I've done over the past few years that have not been put on here.
